Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation requests

All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to hello@cramatic.com. Verbal cancellations or messages sent through social media are not accepted as formal notice. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation request by email.

3-day rule

If you need to cancel a shoot, booking or project, please notify us at least 3 working days before the scheduled start date. Cancellations received within this timeframe will typically be processed without additional charge, subject to any non-recoverable costs already committed.

Late cancellations

Cancellations made with fewer than 3 working days' notice may incur a cancellation fee. In most cases, any deposit paid will be retained to cover planning, preparation and reserved time that cannot be reallocated at short notice.

No-shows

If you do not attend a scheduled shoot or session without prior notice, the full project fee or day rate will be charged. Our crew, equipment and studio time are reserved exclusively for your booking and cannot be reassigned without adequate notice.

Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. Rescheduling is subject to availability and we will make our best efforts to accommodate a new date. Repeated rescheduling may be treated as a cancellation at our discretion.

Work already started

If creative work has already begun — including but not limited to pre-production planning, scripting, storyboarding, location scouting, editing or post-production — fees for work completed to date may be non-refundable. We will provide a breakdown of work completed if requested.

Deposits

Deposits are taken to secure your booking and cover the costs of planning, administration, booking confirmations, creative direction, staffing arrangements and reserved time in our schedule. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of late cancellation or no-show.

Studio bookings

Studio hire bookings may carry separate cancellation terms depending on the duration and nature of the booking. These terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please refer to your studio booking confirmation for specific details.

Third-party costs

Any costs committed to third parties on your behalf — including location hire, specialist equipment rental, talent fees, travel bookings, music licensing or catering — are non-refundable once committed, regardless of when the cancellation is received. These costs will be passed on to you in full.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a refund is warranted, please contact us at hello@cramatic.com or call 0161 938 3686 and we will review the circumstances fairly.
